Union Pub Co
Cinnamon Public House, Burton on Trent
The Burton Union public house was unoccupied prior to being completely re-modeled to provide a new bar, restaurant, and alfresco area. Our brief requested an interior that was flexible enough to function as a walk in covered Bistro ( the whole frontage opens out via top hung glazed doors) and revert to a traditional bar with dining facilities at night.
A covered smoking area was inserted into the side passage where a tegular paving scheme extended around from the frontage. Feature iron gates provided security.
Different floor finishes of porcelain slate tiles, fumed oak and Axminster carpet helped to define the interior spaces, and a new bar was installed that provided dedicated wine and coffee to
The dining area. The building was rebranded "Cinnamon" to reflect its new market positioning.
